Why Are Valley Bus Drivers Allowed to Strike?

Why are Valley bus drivers allowed to strike against the public interest? Don’t they have a government granted monopoly, and a government subsidy? If so, drivers should not be allowed to strike. President Ronald Reagan showed us the proper way of dealing with such employees when the air traffic controllers went on strike. We should take a lesson from that incident.
